Let's talk Xi...

What was most memorable to you when you went through recruitment?

Bid day, the overwhelming love and joy from that day are something I will never forget and I wish I could relive over and over again.

Why did you choose Alpha Xi Delta?

For the love and acceptance that I felt. These girls made me feel comfortable and allowed me to be who I was even though I just met them. This sorority stood out to me because everyone was so different and brought so many things to the table. 

What advice can you give a PNM coming through?

Be open minded. Go where YOU feel most comfortable. Don’t join a sorority just because your friend likes them or even if you already have friends in it. You need to go where you feel most at home. 


Tegan is such a blessing to our chapter. Keep shining, sis!

Let's Talk Xi!

The sisterhood of women that lives within our hearts.  The loyalty and friendships of which we are a part. Alpha Xi Delta holds a special place in all our sisters hearts, and we would like to share it with you! Here on our blog we will give you an inside look on our chapter here at Jacksonville State University. This blog is also here to tell you about the recruitment process on our campus! What is it? When is it? What should I wear? Don't worry, we will get to all of that later. In 1968, Alpha Xi Delta was founded on campus as the first Panhellenic organization. Since our founding, the sisters of the Epsilon Pi chapter have come a long way in realizing their potential.  Our sister Darby has been crowned as Miss JSU 2019. Are you going to the Panhellenic Summer Social? Not sure what that is... Let's talk Xi! Still on the fence about going through sorority recruitment this fall? Then mark you calendar for July 28 ! The Panhellenic Summer Social is a great way to "get your feet wet" with the recruitment process and the sorority women on campus.  What to expect: In the past, the Summer Social has been a busy busy day! All of the women who are going through or are thinking of going through recruitment show up and get name tags to start the day. After you're shown your seat, you'll get to chat with the other women at your table! What classes are you taking? What are you majoring in? Do you know anyone else going through? Chat it up!
